Welcome to #TheQuickPitch, a podcast show in which Reid Jackson sits down with entrepreneurs across Europe building awesome tech companies 🚀💥

Louise Brandt, Co-founder, CCO & Deputy CEO of Open Payments, a fintech start-up based in Stockholm, aiming to democratise financial services and enable small and big innovators with access to the financial infrastructure easily and securely.
Louise has also been an early employee of iZettle in 2011 and taking the company globally before it was acquired by PayPal in 2018.

Open Payments is an FSA regulated B2B platform as a service provider, offering a developer-centric solution for PST2 and open banking. The start-up is a pure API based platform where we empower market players with flexibility and innovation.

On a wider exposure, they target anyone that seeks access to financial services through one API. Currently, their first focus is on two products: account information and payment initiation services.

Within these two focus areas, which are just the beginning of open banking, Lousie points out that the real-time data access to account information is very interesting for any business. The access enables companies to improve their businesses, create new solutions and better service experiences for their customers.
